Hi, took a few pics for the folks that have been wondering about the thickness difference in the original tg and the tglb.

as you can see in this pic the tglb is thinner at the final edge area but by no means weak

Not the greatest pic but it does show the thickness of the two blades from the edge

For anyone worried that the tglb isn't thick enough or tough enough, well don't be its a thick tough blade with plenty of metal in the edge. Thinned down enough from the original to be a better performer in every category with the possible exception of pry bar. Although I seriously doubt anyone is going to break either one outside of sheer idiocy.

I was curious about some of the things you addressed. Is there any cosmetic differences (grip size/angle, fullers, etc)?

Thanks

The fuller on the tglb is a little wider, the grip angle is exactly the same. The only real difference is the lightness in hand its a much quicker blade.

Has the TGLB been a longer running knife than the TG? The reason I ask is I dont remember ever seeing a TG for sell. I have only been turned on to Busse from about last Mar or Apr. Thanks, David

I don't think the tg was ever a regular knife on the website. As far as I know it was limited to shows and a few ganza's.

Dave, The only knives I have seen on the Busse web site are the AA and the TGLB. Have most of the knives on the market today come from the web site or are they customs, shows and or ganzas. I see you have had quite a few posts and been a member from 08........... This is off topic..... About how often does Busse change the knives on his web site? I quess I could of started a thread. Thanks, David

A lot of them are from shows and ganza's. The boss jack was the knife before the AA and Tglb, seems like it was up about 6 months. I would imagine it depends on demand as to how long they stay available. So no real firm answer, some of the guys who are more focused on collecting would give you a better answer. I generally only buy the ones I'll use, so not every design resonates for me.
