tglb horizontal carry

Hi all,

I'm about to order a TGLB (CF with orange g-10) and was wondering if any of you have a setup to carry this knife horizontally. Can the spec ops sheath do it with paracord or molle locks? If not, what are my options here.

Is the tglb too big for horizontal carry?

This will be my first Busse:eek:

The Spec Ops sheath is only rigid in the area covering the blade. The belt loops are what I would consider "floppy". I wouldn't be able to go horizontal with my TGLB, but I'm not a big guy (32" waist). I carry mine on my left hip with the Spec Ops so it doesn't interfere with my pistol and evens the carry weight out a bit.

If you're bent on horizontal carry, I would go with Demonic1's recommendation for kydex.
 
I carry a Sarge7 horizontally in krydex with a Tek Lok and it works great so i don't think the TGLB is too big.
 
I would recommend kydex for horizontal carrying a knife the size of the TG. I have done it few times and had no problems. Of course I do not have the problem of having a 32" waist to deal with. LOL

Are there any good kydex artists familiar with Busse knives that could do this kind of sheath without having to send the knife?
