TGLB in Ka Bar sheath?

I was just thinking, would the TGLB fit in a standard KaBar sheath?
Waiting for the arrival of my TGLB any day, but there will not be time before my leaving for army duty..
I need to find a sheath to use....
If any of you have both knives, could you maybe post a side by side pic, and try the TGLB in the kabar sheath?
All help would be greatly appreciated...
 
I own both and the TGLB is not going to fit in the KA-BAR sheath.

The TGLB is just to much blade for that sheath.
 
Hmm, too bad I was hoping I found my.perfect quick fix, maybe the bk7 sheath would fit..
Think I'll have to check that out...

You wouldn't happen to have a side by side shot of the knives, brboru?
 
Bk7 should work..or if you have a rat 7 that should also work...but it won't hold it very secure. ..so that could be an issue ...as I'm sure you don't want to lose it.
 
Definitely don't want to loose it, some modifications will be done, just don't have the time to make a sheath as I'm leaving on the 25 and my knife will probably not be here before tha start of next week..
Any suggestions are welcome at this point..
 
Use the 7 sheath and remove the plastic sleeve and press it to the tglb like kydex. It should make it more secure.

But keep suggestions comming, probably many fresh TGLB owners wanting to learn, lol...

I really like the Spec-Ops Combat Master sheaths, remove the kydex insert and mold it to the TGLB. Same principle as what BuckMaster suggested just a different sheath.
