TGLB: Kydex Vs Combat Master sheath

I would go with Combat Master then. I had one ordered but my order got screwed up and I didn't get it. Decided not to get one. I have one of the Spec Ops sheaths without the pouch that it fit in pretty well. I used it in the interim. It is out in your neck of the woods getting fitted with some pants now.

I would go with kydex myself :)

Both are nice:) here is my kydex for the TGLB. I use a fuller blocker, to prevent drag and allow for fast deployment. And I can set them up for the esee molle back.

^ that guy made my Gladius sheath. It's a sweet piece, although I don't yet have the gladius to put in it :(

Azwelke made my LBTG sheath and I love it ,I got a green taco style setup for a tekloc.

Really can't go wrong with either choice. We have some awesome benders of kydex around here if you decide to go that way. Personally I like the snap in click of kydex, just makes me feel sure that the knife is secure. I would also go with a tec-lok. It offers tons of attachment options.

To tell you the truth....I like the Spec Ops sheaths alot. You can heat the kydex insert up to give it a more custom feel and they nylon sheaths they build are pretty freaking tough. I have 2 of them currently and they work great. If you shop around it's not hard to find them going for under 50.00. Which is a good deal for a universal sheath that is USA built, and built right!

well folks, thanks for all your help. I had a little over $50 in Busse store credit, so i went ahead and added a combat master to my order.

I might still end up getting Kydex too, but for the moment, the CM was effectively free, so i went ahead and got one.

FYI ~ I have one of your Team Gemini sheaths. It's excellent. I really appreciate your attention to detail especially with regard to your finish on the KYDEX edges and how beautifully you fit and molded the sheath mouth to the contours of the knife. I also really like the extremely solid "lock in" of the knife into the sheath.
A very nice valuable feature for a survival type knife.

I have the SpecOps sheath. Its a great fit and seems very well built, but I see you already realized this :)
