TGLB Mod Work

You're correct...it does look different...it looks OUTSTANDING....my favorite part is how you continued the meltdown even onto the clip.

Now I wonder what it'd look like with the top quillion clipped as in Regulator vs. DeRegulator.... 🤔

Yes thank you, I wondered who would notice. That part was done a little by hand. The meltdown is way less pronounced than the Busse crew.

Belt sander, buffing wheel, belt sharpener.
Belt sand a few seconds, quench in a bucket of water, don’t get it hot. You’ve got to look down the knife and pay attention to what you’re talking off, You can take it off but you can’t put it back on.

Absolutely right, you've got the right idea to only quench in water while the blade isn't hot. You could even start with a bucket of ice water to cool things further to begin with.

I remember my instructor when I went through school years ago to drive Semi-trucks, one of his favorite things to say was 'get out and look'. Grinding is very much the same, you grind where you think it is needed and then you constantly stop and assess where you're actually grinding and how much further you need to go before stopping and going to far. Half the time I spend grinding is actually spent NOT grinding and taking stock of where things are headed to get to the right end point result.
