Hello All
I am new to the Busse blades but have a change to obtain either a TGLB or a HR. I cant decide which one to get so I thought I would bring it to you guys. Thanks for the help. Thanks!!

i would go with the hellrazor, because i an not a huge fan of the twin talon hole's in front.

I love my TGLB... never owned a HR, but i don't see any significant tasks at which it would be better, unless you want a HUGE skinning knife

Plus I love the CBT's on the HR. :D I wonder what happened to CBT's? They would have looked great on the TG.

same exact question a few months ago. HR had majority vote
what's up with these two that they're put up against each other? they seem pretty different

you picked a good place for a first post. I dont have either so I couldnt help you, but if you could divulge what you intend to use either knife for, it would help a lot.

I LOVE the HR and mud razor, alwys wanted one......man i would jump on one or four if they got released by the big guy again, like a combat grade so us poor civil servants could grab a couple ;)

I would go with the TGLB for me.

They are both great knives and both work really well as camp knives. The hell razor is a bit harder to get right now so you might just pick it up first. Aside from the difference in guards they are a similar size so pick which one you like the look of most and go for it.

Go big or go home,,,, Battle Mistress :D

Welcome to the forums!

(Team Gemini, start slow = less $ typically, HR is my pref as I love the CBT/look and its a little less manly/more practical for me if not goin big :p)

Hellrzr pros: Badass piece of infi!
Hellrzr cons: The spine although cool is not practical for batoning. Also might be harder to find.

TGLB pros: Badass piece of infi!
TGLB cons: The top talon hole can get in the way when maneuvering the knife. ie: placing your thumb on the spine. This however is subject to opinion.

The all around busse everyone needs is a NMSFNO and I'm not just saying that because I'm selling one. It's a great all around knife IMO.

Argh.......must resist adding another knife to "the list".

I've been thinking about a good "companion" knife to go into camp with alongside an CG FBM or NMFBM to do small tasks. The TGLB and NMSFNO seem a bit large for that since I was thinking about one of the smaller knives (pork shank, active duty, etc) but then I see posts.........like..........this.

I think a companion to an NMFBM would be something more in the 7-8" range with a 4-4.5" blade that was razor sharp. Maybe even chisel ground............custom??

The NMSFNO is my small knife :). Razor sharp with a nice convex edge. :D. I love them all though. The hell razor or tglb, either one is a good choice. Good luck in you quest.

Both are great blades and you really can't go wrong. Be sure to let us know which way you go and be sure to post pics once it arrives.

I think both knives are needed ;)

The HR is a really nice blade and the One I world Take First because you didn't get them much offen Not in USA and for sure not here in EU

There was one at the begining of this year offered to me, but I didn't take it because there was another knife....
After realising I tryed one week to kick me in my ass

The TGLB is for sure a good knife too, I mean hey it's a Busse ;)
I can't say much about this type because I didn't get one in my hands up to now (but this will cange)

Good hunt
Regards Denis
