TGLB Picture Help Please!

Hey guys my wife wants to order me a Busse for my 40th birthday next month. This will be my first Busse knife and I am thinking about getting the TGLB and can't decide on what color combo. If anyone has a knife with these combo's and could share a picture of it I would greatly appreciate it.
I tried the search function and going through pages of Busse pictures but have come up short.

I am leaning towards

Grey Blade with Blue and Black G10

Black or Grey Blade with Red and Black G10

Black or Grey Blade with Black Paper
 
I have a blue/black over tanker gray TGLB at home in the safe.... will see about posting a pic for you tonight.

Great choice BTW... my first Busse is a TGLB with black canvas over competition finish, and it's still my all-time fave!

I'd go Black w/ Black Paper or Tanker Gray w/ Blue & Black G10, both are very sharp combos IMO.

Great thread. Read my mind. On the verge of ordering my first as well. TGLB makes sense, Ill never not want one. Trying to decide myself on scales. Tanker gray for sure but,.. paper or canvas? Paper looks so nice/clean but the canvas looks like it would be more comfortable. My ultimate TG would be stripped, w/ melted/Nuclear canvas scales.

I can't speak for the paper, but the canvas is extremely comfortable. I personally like a little more grip to my scales.

Yea, thats where Im at. Canvas/Linen are my favorite in hand, love the way they look as well. So thats it; Tnkr Gry/Canvas, thump on it, make it a project next year, stripping, knocking the scales smooth.
 
On everybodie's favorite auction site right now there is one with red/black G-10 and a black blade. There is also one with blue/black g-10 with either a grey or black blade (hard to tell). They are priced more than if you go direct to busse but the pictures are there.
 
I don't have a TGLB in blue/black G-10 & Tanker, but I do have a few examples in different Busse models to hold ya while u wait. :) Good combo. :thumbup:

Different shades of Grey... Top- CGFBM The darkest "Urban Grey" I've yet to see, Middle- HG55 Tanker Grey (newest of the 3), Bottom is the lighter & better known shade of the Urban Grey on a CG BATAC. The middle knife is the closest representation out of the 3 of your considered combo. :)

Awesome! thanks for the pictures and comparison of shades of grey. I think the Blue and Black look great with grey and is most likely what I will go with.

Dadgummit, I will check out the auction site and take a look at the red/black G10

Sorry about the quality.... my skills aren't the best, and a phone is all I have to work with. I think this is my fave combo for a coated blade, although I do still want to have something with red/black....

I think tanker grey/red and black is a great looking combo.

Also, if grippiness is important to you then do NOT get black paper.
