It's been awhile since I've sold a Busse (I hate to do it). Unfortunately, I'm going to have to soon, and I'm considering parting with one of my TGLBs, but I have no idea what they go for currently. It is black/tan G10 and coated, brand new. I've looked on Ebay but the prices seem to be way too inflated. What's a fair asking price on these right now? Thanks in advance!

5 or 6 bills if you wanted to move her fast, but hell, if you need the cash and can get a premium price throw her up on the auction site...no judgments, no regrets.

that's pretty much the Daryl Dixon special and it'd probably fetch more there anyways, imho.

Thanks for the info brother! If I'd didn't have multiples I'd be loathe to sell it!

yup, I've got 3 myself and it's one of my favorite models, so I feel ya!

I'd hate to know I'd have to part with this one:

I only have one, it was my first Busse ordered from the website in 2014. Twenty some Busses later its still my favorite one, of course they all are my favorite but its the top of the pile, after all the abuse I put it through I think I owe it the top spot.

I'm very pleased to announce, I got a non-knife item sold, so the TGLB will be staying with me. Baby on the way, so the wife is cutting down on my spending...

I love that comp finish PeteyTwoPoints. Do you have a TGULB too or only TGLBs? I have a comp finish TGLB with green micarta that I would never part with. I really love the weight savings and how lively they feel in hand.

TGLB was my first Busse too. I think I've owned about 10 of them in total. One I really beat the snot out of and besides missing coating you could never tell. Really just a great all-around knife.

That's some GREAT news! You would have certainly regretted it <not regret sacrificing for your family, of course, just regret over having to let go of a beauty of a blade>.

This one of mine is not a Competition Finish. It was a Tanker Gray painted blade and I had it professionally reground.

Check out the thread I just posted up and enjoy!

Oh wow, I just noticed that nice grinder satin on it. That is quite a beauty! I like the screws too for easy disassembly and maintenance. I've sent in some stuff to Josh before and he does incredible work! Now I'm kind of jealous. I dig that Outlaw too. Funny story: when I bought my first Busse, I didn't know they rotated which models they were offering. The "Anatomy of a Busse" link on the website featured an Outlaw at the time, and so I though that was what I was ordering. I was surprised when a TGLB showed, but I would up loving it so much I bought second a few weeks later. Never got an Outlaw at all I've been so happy with my TGLBs.

Thanks!

I like the NMSFNO model so much, I take other Busse models and mod them to make them more Outlaw-like! ;):p
