Anyone have this combo? By numbers it fits but it's close, anyone have this combo that can confirm if it will work or not? Thanks guys, if I pull the trigger on the TGLB it will be my first Busse

Bro it fits like a champ!!! Get it and you want regret it. I will pop some picks and try to get them posted tonight. I even used my Dremel and removed material so that the crossguard can sit down in the liner. I'll get back to you...

Thank you man. I'm thinking gray blade with black and red g10

I can also confirm that it fits good. I have a muddy with black and red g10, great combo...gray with B&R looks good too

Here is a few:

TG in Long and RMD in Short

Dremel out the ends of the liner so the TG sits down in the liner better instead of sitting on top of.

Now for those who don't know, SPEC-OPS has changed there sheaths in that they are not using a screw to secure the liner in the nylon anymore. They have gone to a patch of Velcro on the liner and down in the sheath. I not to much of a fan of that but I'll still buy and use them. the 2nd pic after this note shows how they are using 2 each rivets in the liner. The other 2 holes I put in so I could adjust the liner up of down as I see fit. Once I cut the cross guard shoulders out I wasn't sure the top hole would work so I put another one in and really didn't need it. The Liner was plenty long to accommodate the Team Gemini and the top hole was perfect.

Here is the cut out in the shoulders that I was talking about

You can see the blade tip is no where near the top hole I drilled in.

I took this pick to show you the knife was set down into it's position when I took the blade tip and bottom of the liner pic.

Thanks for the pics and taking time to get them up so fast. I just ordered my TGLB now I wait to join the Busse club

Good on ya Brother and welcome to the madness!!! You will love the Team Gemini in what ever variation you get...

I also assume as tight as the dimensions are there isn't much play/ rattle?

If you need to tighten it up, that is one of the beauty's about the liner SPEC-OPS uses. All you need is a hair drier and I like to use something like the http://www.rockler.com/2-in-spring-clamp and you just put the clamp on the liner apply heat and the clamp will start closing. Once you have achieved the amount of grip you want, remove the heat and let cool. Remember you need to leave the knife in the sheath as you do this. It will be best if you put a couple of layers of Painter Tape on the steel of the blade cause that will give you a couple of thousandth of an inch i.e. .002 on each side of the blade. Which this will minimize blade drag from the sheath.

Russmo thanks for the tutorial on fitting the sheath as well, now I just have to decide on a color

I altered my Spec Ops Kydex using a simmering pan of water. Very workable, and safe. I was able to shove the Kydex down into the Nylon far enough to make cutouts for my TGLB unnecessary.

Good luck...;-)
