FG is a little heavier...ca. 3 oz. according to my scales...I can't feel the difference in hand, both are light in hand

FG is a bit longer also...I'll just let the pics do the talking...

FG cheesecake shots ;) disclaimer...the Competition grind lines are not as prominent IRL as they appear in some of my pics, that's due to long afternoon sunrays ...they are are bold but due to the lighting it sometimes looks like a grizzly got ahold of my FTG >>> they're not that bold...it's just a great Comp finish!

Thanks for posting this, I'll probably stare at it for hours, wishing that my maroon CF Gemini was here lol. This is going to be a keeper if mine ever gets here. I'm certain my Condo TGLB leather sheath won't fit as it is of a similar build. I'll go ahead and order a sheath from Armorall or Condo's leather again.

Here are some CG comparisons...the weight difference does not really translate as one feeling heavier...they do feel different in hand...I think that the hand-smoothed handle option on the FG would yield a near-perfect feeling knife in hand. If I keep this CG or a CF coming, I would likely do my own hand-smoothing. The knife is beautiful and I like the extra length.

Also - I have mixed views on CBT in looks department and what I would prefer. On this particular knife, I have zero qualms about CBT, and love them, the swedge and the tip on the FG!

I also think it is insane (Busse-induced insanity) to call a TGLB/any 8-inch blade a small knife!

Here are my pics. I prefer thinner/non-mag/hand-smoothed handles across the board, and it is funny that the magnum handled TBLG feels a bit better un-modified for some reason.

I think if this FG model would have cone out with original TGLB options, such as hand-smoothing, then I just might prefer the FG overall, possibly handa down. I am not a huge user of the TG's in general, although I have done so on several occasions with some of the models I have.

Overall, my nod goes to thinner stock on these small knives, and I like the overall additional length with thinner stock as well. kind of a toss-up in my mind right now. Hand smooth and FG, and I think I might prefer that. Also, the FG dual hand-guards are more prominent on the FG than the TG. I prefer the lower profile, although it is very minimal.

I really like them both. I think a dialed in hand-smoothed FG would take my cake, although hard to tell.

These are such nuanced obersavations via holding as close to similar versions of TGLB and FG as you can get...

Also - the fuller work is "more beautiful" on the FG than the TGLB, in my opinion.

Awesome! - So now I get an idea of how you guys see them- I'm happy being New-Gen Busse fan- so now my wish would be for a FGLB SE Crusader - I'll raise my hand to take all those butt ugly CBT blades off your hands :D

I’ve had a handful of TGLBs and got rid of them, but I can’t wait to get my FGs! Aesthetically, I don’t think there’s a contest. As someone who’s not usually a CBT fan, this knife looks to be a home run. Think of it as additional grooves to make pulling the knife out of a zombie skull that much easier!

All the TG variants are nice, we love all of them, but my favourite is TGLB (LE)...and my Tanker Grey with Balck/Green g10 TGLB.
