So I was wandering, I originaly wanted a TGLB in comp finish but couldnt pass up a deal from another forum member that I couldnt pass up but wasnt what I really wanted. I have a coated blade with dark tan canvas. I really want black canvas with a comp finish. Please keep in mind it will be a user and not a safe queen. Thus the question, how bad does infi oxidize (rust)? Any and all input is appreciated. Thanx fellas

Its pretty resistant to rust, not stainless but pretty close. I've got a competition finish Hell Razor made in 2007 and no rust on it.

As long as you take care of it like you would any other quality tool, it will be fine. Just clean it off and make sure it's dry before putting it away. If you're really worried about it, give it a squirt with WD40 or something similar. If you're out and about and can't clean it, a wipe over with an old oily rag will greatly hinder any corrosion. That said, I've left mine filthy dirty for weeks and they've never had any corrosion, maybe a slight patina. As Jerry once said, the best way to keep rust off a knife is to use it :)
