I didn't know this kind of sword. I love it!

What's the steel Santi?
Wood or horn handle?
 
It's hand forge from the local iron source (iron mine?) in the north of Thailand.
Handle and sheath is of local wood called Mah-Kleur, which is black like the ebony.

:)
 
I'm not familiar with this type of sword either, but it looks really cool. Is is meant to be wielded with one hand or two?
