I will be traveling to Thailand in the near future. Does anyone have any knowledge of the knife laws over there?

no but you should go see a few thai fights and make sure you smile, cuase they are very friendly people and if you dont smile they think your upsets, and one really important thing. NEVER i saw NEVER touch a thai person on thier head EVER (unless you are makin out with some chick you know?). I dont know why I just know it is really rude. Never been there Just know alot of people who have.

Good Morning All-

Will be making the trip to Singapore and then on to Bangkok, Phuket, and Chaing Mai to visit with friends. Members of my traveling party are low-key professionals who don't attract undue attention.

I was thinking about purchasing something like a Spyderco Delica so something expensive/exotic doesn't get confiscated. Just wanted to "renew the thread" in case there are additional ideas for knife possession and use in this region of the globe. Thanks!

Try posting this in the Asian and Australian forum under community. I know that there are some active members from Thailand there.

Good Morning Kamkazmoto-

Yes, I was looking at the Asia & Australia forum, too. It seems like there are some extremely knowledgeable BladeForums members like Samo, Spyken, and others who post there frequently...

I'm seeing what I can do to obtain this information without "spamming" the board too much! :o We leave within a couple of days and I would love to have a decent knife with me for typical day-to-day tasks...not a silly little 1.00" blade.

Thanks so much!
