Great sharking there Dobe and Jack Congrats to both of you. Both of those are great looking but that Dui just makes my drool cup runneth over. Gorgeous fullers!

Thanks Shavru; like I need another khuk, but heck, I don't have one by Thamar, and I really like the weight to length, drop, and fullers on this knife. Missed the last couple, so what the hey.... :D

Now if I can just smuggle it into the house.
 
Fingers crossed Auntie has some more Thamar for show and tell. I just love his stuff. Leans toward traditional and always consistent quality, even though my Thamar curved spine is slightly gooder than Bookies.
 
I've seen a few knives, Randall comes to mind, that are hand specific. It's a grip thing.

Philllll got one Pen knife that is neither left or right handed, more like both at the same time. It's so big that it needs two hands to hold it :-)

Question for the Kuk masters. How do you call that kind of cupper butt on today's pen knife?

Beating plumb out of my chest. Wish you were here. Minus 1 hour and counting. I've been practicing my hugging with all the drink runners, waitress's and some sort of important lady, must be management. Irene ain't caught me yet so no marks.
She let me lay around and not get in the van today since its 13 hours on the road tomorrow if I make it all the way. 102 out there but I been inside so ok. Van probably an oven but we'll get there.

Have fun and say, "HI" tyo auntie for me. We would've been up there too, but I forgot about the puppy, she's still in training, and I don't think the casino will be too glad to see a puppy in the room, and us taking her on the elevator to go outside to do her business every few hours. I was literally halfway packed, when the wife asks what we were going to do with the puppy. Duh....I was just so excited. Oh well, perhaps next time.

Heading out for my birthday to the famous SF landmark, the "House of Prime Rib! Yummmm....our regular spot for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines Day, etc..., been going there for over 40 years. The owner has known me since a wee tyke, now he's on his last legs, love the geezer, now his sons are running the place.

I'm not a Kuk master and I don't know what that kind of butt cap is called, or if it has a special name. However, I've noticed that certain specific models have that type of butt cap as part of the design. The two models I know of are the Salyan Special and this one, the Pen Knife.
