Never heard of a Pach Chirra, apparently there's a hole in my Thamar Chirra collection I wasn't even aware of.
Fingers crossed for ya Ramojung. That's a beauty. Thamar is an incredible kami.

Thanks, Bawanna.
One of the prettiest I can remember.
I hope I remembered Auntie's email!

Thamar's pach chirra and the perfect fitting sheath are absolutely fantastic. The handle fits my hand like it was custom made for me.
Amazing works of functional art. Thank you Thamar and Auntie for a wonderful addition to my collection.

Well said, thank you Ramojung

Bawanna, I have this strange thought burning in me head at the moment. As you may well comprehend, I am not familiar with Nepali words, pronunciations, and the like, so I ask for your advise. Could it be, just possibly or maybe, that "Pach Chirra" is a Nepalese attempt at writing "Corn Patch". I know my home town is probably world famous, so just wondering........

Well sir, I'm also no expert at the Nepalese language but I think there's a very high probability that you are correct. I mean it only makes sense.
It's a nice consolation for you having the second bestest curved spine in the world. I of course having the bestest.

But I don't have a knife named after my hometown. Maybe I can talk to city council and change the name of our town to Thamar?
