It's funny that I am saying this today because there is already another thread thanking Paul for his generosity and another thank you thread started by him for someone else's. I posted not long ago that I lost my peanut and have not been able to find it even after searching far and wide. Like is surprisingly common, Paul asked for my address just last week and a 2010 yellow Case peanut in CV (like brand new) showed up on my doorstep today. Paul, thank you so much for your kindness and generosity! To receive a gift from someone I have never met or personally talked to is beyond me. More people in this world should be like the people in this forum. Plenty of you have seen yeller nuts but here is MY yellow nut

Thank you Paul!

Outstanding Paul, you are a true gent :)

Eric, I'm just glad your reunited with your "Yeller" nut  I just found that over the years I amassed a collection that quite honestly was bordering on EXCESS :(

As much as I love traditional knives and knives in general it was foolish to have so many. These are knives that deserve to be in the hands of people that will use and carry them from time to time, not sit in storage.

If these knives are dispersed amongst others that truly love knives as much as I do then I reap a greater reward than owning them myself ;)

I'm so glad that people receiving these knives are getting enjoyment from them. It can only spread the traditional bug when others see us using these for what they were meant to be, a simple cutting tool.

Traditional knives are a link back to a simpler time, maybe a better time when things weren't rushed, when a family sat nightly at the kitchen table for supper and we conversed face to face and not via texting. Don't get me wrong, it's actually technology that brought us together but at times it also alienates us.

So can a simple knife help in today's fast paced world? Don't know for sure but I do know this, it sure can't hurt:thumbup:

Paul

Well, it will certainly be used, and used with pleasure. Even as a young man, 25, traditionals are my cup-of-tea and I like to think that I am a pretty simple man. I hope that I can spread the bug and help the cause to achieve a simpler world.
