Thank you all for the advice and info regarding Damascus. I have found a supplier as well as a local Blacksmith association, (BAM) to take a class. I plan on taking this short 2 day course to acertain if this is for me and then off to a six day school. Now the hard part is convincing the wife that I need all this new equipment It's better to ask for forgiveness than permission Thanks again you all have been so helpful!!! I hope to someday soon post photos of my knives and custom pens.
