Hey folks, Mr. Stoopidhead here. I just wanted to make a little place as a non-American to say thanks to the guys that helped us out getting hold of the BK20. Now I'm sure there are a few guys out there from Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada etc. that had special help from our United Station brethren getting these beautiful formed pieces of steel due to KA-BAR not shipping outside of 'Muhrica.

My thanks goes to our esteemed brother and all-round bloody legend, NCSlice. Not only did he receive and post me the package, he had it tracked and insured. And he sent me some BK&T stickers! Seriously, Slice my boy, love ya man. This is why I love this end of Sparks town hall. It's you guys. So, any guys not from the US that received their Bundoks from our US friends, this is a place to say thanks.

Before I go, I also want to give massive gratitude to the boss, Ethan Becker. Uncle E, your knives not only showed me and many others how cool a sharpened edge can be, but you introduced me to a great and wonderful bunch of people. A true gentleman..

One more thing, big love to Kristi at KA-BAR who helped me out getting the package sent to my Northern Carolinian friend. You're a babe..

Springy..

Great post! I too wanna say thanks... BIG thanks to GSOM for getting this one across the Atlantic to Europe. Couldn't be more happy with a package like this. Another 4 and 5 to boot... Once again, thanks a lot and big props to the other b'heads helping out overseas b'heads.

Hell yeah! It was my pleasure brother!
I only wish crap wouldn't have bogged me down and got it out a few days earlier. I was a bit nervous that the crazy laws there may have held it up but good ol' Ozland slid'er right on through! Woohoo! Enjoy man!
I'm here for ya!

I want to thank the folks on here who mentioned that those of us living in Canada could call in our order. I was able to snag a beautiful trio of knives.

Placing the order was an easy experience and the package got here quick (would have been 5 days faster if the customs folks didn't sit on the package forever).

Thanks for the heads up everyone. Great community here.

Hey BeeKay.....

I really want to thank you for this post of yours...... One of the few things I think I have done right is what has happened in this little piece of the cyber universe and your recent experience reinforces that belief..... Whatever force brought this collection of souls together it was having a good day.... The Slice, GSOM, You and the Shark and the rest of us make quite a community........

I always enjoy the hell out of your posts........

All best...

E

Thanks, Ethan....and to G: more than happy to help out. Good onya Slice for hookin' up a brutha. Makes me consider how lucky I am to live in the States (accident of birth....) and especially in the Granite State where, if I chose, I could carry that Bundock wherever the bloody f^(! I wanted to. As long as I didn't stray across the border into MA. And honestly, this is why the 'Heads are the best, and why I spend all of my online (and even some of my realtime!) with this group.

Where u at BeeKay? If I remember you said you were an Aussie, but still in Oz?

It is tough to get stuff outside 'merica at a good price. They don't realise how good they got it. I'd love a BK20 but out my range at the moment. BK5 and BK4 I'd sell on as not really my type of knives. But with cost, tax and shipping it's just too steep upfront cost for me. Damn shame!!!

I had a distinct feeling Mike helped you out on that one G-Shark. Onya Mike!

Mate you got those knives to me mega quick! About 1000 times faster than my Aussie distributor gets them to me! Funnily enough, customs here will confiscate a small assisted flipper but an 11in. monster, tree chopping machine? Nope. Here you go mate. Go nuts. Thanks again my friend..

Thanks Uncle E. The first time you replied to one of my threads I nearly crapped myself! I ran in and told the wife. At 3am. But seriously, thanks for having me here. I'm honoured..

Yeah buddy, I live in Brisbane. Our exchange rate is poor compared to the US dollar but as far as I know I paid no extra tax on top. Yeah I could sell both extras as I already have both but then how am I going to dual wield Machaxen!

Good if it arrived without further import tax on top. Perhaps it was a lucky escape through customs. GBP £ is a lot higher than USD$ but hate it how US and Asian companies always give us same price in £ as $ or more, as if it was a like for like, when it's not. It's like they take advantage of European market and having a lot of purchases. But it's very niche to find any Beckers over here, real shame as they are damn fine knives, and could do very well over here, but apart from one online store in UK, very much unknown. My BK2 always gets lots of oohs and aahs as soon as I whip that badboy out and lots of "Becker/BK&T Who?" remarks. But put it in their hands and it's like you just gave them He-man's sword and they suddenly feel invincible and want one.

Maybe you should become a distributor....;). Then you could buy wholesale for yourself, and put BK&T knives in the hands of your countrymen....though I have NO business acumen whatsoever and have an idiot's idea of what that would entail....i.e.: NONE. Something to think about, tho...

Awesome, just awesome. Well done to all involved! Still around BK, been travelling a bit but home now. Will catch up soon.

Hmmm. That makes me think. I'll have the Beckers and KABARS sent to Slicebags then he can send them to me, I'll unbox them and take photos of me doing stupid $#!+ with them then box them up again and send them to Jius. At half market value. Then go broke. And drive Slice bananas. Yeps. Bizniss acumen..

Sounds like some crackpot idea they come up with on the Apprentice TV show.
