I would like to thank all of those who sent their condolences to myself and Bob's family.

Last week was one of the most difficult weeks of my life.

Bob and I had an agreement that if anything ever happened to the other...the surviving one would handle the others knife business for the family.

Given this was Bob's wish, the family has asked me to handle the sale of his remaining knives for the foreseeable future.

I have finally had a chance to completely inventory Bob's knives and have asked his webmaster to remove the knives that had been previously sold.

You can order knives off of Bob's website and the orders will come directly to me.

If you have any questions about Bob's knives please feel free to email me.

Again, thank you for your kind words and fond remembrances of Bob.

That is very nice of you Les, I am sure that Bob is up there appreciative for all that you have done and continue to do. Great to see such closeness in this jaded day and age!

So it would be fair to say that anyone wishing to help out can just go to Bob's site and buy a knife, right? That way you'd help the family and yourself at the same time...

That's uncalled for.
I am sure the proceeds go to Bob's family and not to Les. Of course, as the saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished.

I misread and I misspoke. All is well.

I'm hoping that jbravo's comments just came across wrong. I think he could be trying to say buying a knife from Bob's site would benefit the family as well as the customer receiving a great knife. Sometimes what is written isn't what was intended to be said.

That is a good thing your doing. I hope the other poster didn't mean that the way he wrote it (If he did then shame on him)

I meant that in the spirit of reminding folks to consider buying a knife from Bob's site to help his family out. I must have worded it poorly, but I meant NO disrespect to Les or Bob.

Just bringing the thread up to the top along with pointing out his family can use the help, and if you didn't want to just donate something, you can help yourself out to a good knife and do good at the same time. Don't read anything more into it than that.

If it seemed to the contrary, Les, please accept my apologies that it was only meant in a positive way.

Thank you. Got it. I appreciate the clarification. Les is often in the crosshairs and it's easy to read this wrongly. I did.

Let's ALL buy a knife--or two! :D

 Sorry if I was the first one to misunderstand your post.

Les,
I appreciate that you are honoring your agreement with Bob and his memory! I'm certain his family will never forget your kindness.

Gentelemen,

Thank you for your posts. I appreciate you guys looking out for me. I have known JB a long time and I understood what he meant.

Just to clarify, Bob's estate has gone to probate court (or will). A bank account has been set up for all of his monies to be put into (including the sale of the knives).

Once the estate is finally settled the proceeds in the account will be distributed as per the courts ruling.

Not that it matters, but for the record I receive no remuneration for my work. I'm doing this because Bob's family asked me to. More importantly...because Bob asked me to.

Bob's website will remain up for the foreseeable future.

Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about the knives on Bob's site...he has some nice ones!

Les

I was so sad to hear of Bob's passing- we all thought he was on the way to a recovery. What a shock when we learned that he had not made it.

Not that my 3 cents matters but in my mind there is nobody else who could do this service to Bob and his family as well or as honestly as you will do, Les.

You were both friends for many years as long as business buddies.

Best to all, Neil
