In talking with Auntie Yangdu lately, assessing the state of affairs in Nepal, the state of affairs on this site....reviewing the past year and looking towards the future....we have both concluded that we are truly very, very thankful for our dear friends and supporters here and elsewhere.
Despite many setbacks out of the norm of usual business, such as the devastating earthquake, the limiting of necessary goods to Nepal by neighboring India, The loss of kami due to economic and medical circumstance and the fact that Pala, Yangdu and I are all suffering painful medical issues and having trouble resolving them.....we are still committed to this beautiful dream of Uncle Bills and wish to continue to walk the dharma path until we all can walk no more. We remain hopeful that there are better things yet to come for all of us.
The last several years have been plenty tough on all of HI, but this last year has been a bit of a doozy.
Still, it remains that, our loyal friends have stood by HI with their limitless patience, their caring and understanding. Our friends have selflessly helped ease the burden of helping us to care for those who have limited or no opportunity for betterment, for medical care and sometimes just the basic needs that have to be met in some manner, somehow.
Please allow me to express not only my own gratitude, but to express the gratitude of Pala, Yangdu, the Kami crew and all of HI.
It is because of all of you that support us that we are still here and trying our best to move forward. You truly are the best of the best this site has to offer, possibly the best people on the internet in my own eyes. We are appreciative all of you have done and continue to do to help us keep the positive in perspective, the friendliness of the forum and the dream continuing to affect the lives of so many on and off the forum.
We are blessed to count each and every one of you as friends..
