I've been meaning to start this thread to let others know about the great people that frequent this forum. There are many on this forum that "gifting" or "pay it forward" or kind words or gestures are just common place.

Here's how this came about. Andrew (AFAustin) noticed a thread from another forum member that rec'd a knife I sent them. Andrew then sends me a PM and said that he'd like to in turn gift me a knife for my gesture:o

Andrew had started a thread pertaining to Browning Lockbacks and the fine gift he rec'd from a very nice woman from the Browning corporation.

In the thread that Andrew started I had mentioned how the Browning knives are great in so many ways and how I missed mine because I gave it to my brother in the past.

So on the 22nd this arrives in my mail box:)

Andrew, thank you so much, your generosity is very much appreciated!!!

Please pardon my poor pictures as they don't do justice to the great f&f and the gorgeous light Quince wood covers on this knife:o

This is such a great little knife, fits perfect in the watch pocket and is an absolute slicing machine, one I will carry and treasure for years to come;)

Thank you again Andrew,

Paul

That is a beauty. I haven't followed Browning's knife line recently; they've not been on my radar. I like that one a lot; it reminds me in some ways of the Gerber Silver Knight line and the Al Mar knives, both lines were made in Japan as well.

Andrew, that was a great kindness you have shown to Paul. A toast to you, sir!!!

Paul, I am so glad you like the little Browning, and what great pics! I really hope you enjoy having it in your pocket from time to time and that it is a good replacement for the one you kindly gave to your brother.

Thank you so much to all who have posted comments here and for all the kind words. This truly is a great forum and I have enjoyed it so much during my relatively short time here, and learned so much from you all. The level of kindness, courtesy, knowledge, and generosity here is unmatched.

Bravo for the Traditionals Forum!

Andrew
