i found this old 9100 several months back buried deep in the saltwater beach. at first i had no clue it was a bench-made knife, just knew it was a knife of sorts. we find many knives all over our hunting area in and out of the water, but mostly right along the shore and wash area.

this day was my lucky day. after posting it on my youtube channel, many replied that bench-made has lifetime warranty and i should send it back.

i called and talked to someone and got the needed paper work and off it went, about 3 weeks later it came back, just like new......same salt eaten scales and new tip, and all new insides....wow. nice job.

thank you bench-made.

I'm amazed that Benchmade will service a knife in this sort of condition. They are consistently willing to go above and beyond in terms of customer service.

Wow

I saw your vid on finding that Stryker just last week, when I did a search on that model, due to having one coming myself. , Hadnt realized it was that recent..great find by the way. Happen to be in Chesapeake area on extended holiday, at the moment myself.

Nice find and yet another fine BM CS story..

I've yet to find another knife company's customer service that's a pimple on the ass of Benchmade's.

I'm in Virginia Beach also and there's a lot of water and sand to deal with round here, nice find and especially like the weathered look of your 9100. Kudos to Benchmade!
