Nine months ago I became part of a group of people that have made things a lot more fun for me ever since.
I have gotten to converse with some of the people in the knife industry that I had only read about, or had read articles written by. They have turned out to be warm, sometimes funny, always informative and helpful.
The other knife nuts that frequent this forum have given me many hours of enjoyment. I do not always agree with what you have to say, but your passion for these sharp, shiny things we all love is an inspiration to me.
So to everyone out there that has come to mean so much to me, I wish you all the best of times, and thank you. I hope to be a part of this community for many years to come.

This place really is a community. I love it! Not only have I been fortunate to make friends here, I've gotten to meet a handful of them. How lucky we are!

I agree with what you had to say 100%.
If there are nicer or sharper people than KnifeKnuts I sure haven't met them.

Mike and Spark, we probably don't say thank you enough. Your forums have provided me with countless hours of entertainment and friendship. We all owe you a lot!

Community?

From my persepective, it is more like a family. We have our loving caring members, we have our senior statesmen, we have brothers who are business people, doctors, lawyers, firefighters, and law enforcement officers. We have angry teenagers and angry adults. Some of us hate each other, and some of us love each other (thats a metaphor folks). Some of know a lot about a few things. And some of know a little about a lot of things.

Once in a while somebody has to lay down the law, or clean up the mess everyone makes. Some of us like to fight. Some of us like to joke around too much. Some of us are dead serious. And some of us are crazy. That's pretty normal. isn't it?

I like all of us. Bladeforums is a Blade Family. We stick together and help each other out. If we bicker among ourselves sometimes, it is because we are human.

Thanks to Mike for creating and investing in the playground and to Spark for building and maintaining our playhouse. We kiddies appreciate it.

Paracelsus, wondering if Mike is Daddy, what does that make Spark?
 
Amen to that, Keith! I use to read all the post at work, but couldn't log on due to our policies. It was killing me, there's so much to learn here, and great fellowship. Like you said we don't always see eye to eye, but I have noticed folks here are first class! RKBA!
