Thank you for another wonderful factory sale! Lots of good stuff this time around and some GREAT prices. I bought way more than I had planned on, but you can never have too many knives right? Keep up the good work!

My favorite knife of the day was the Akonua with Guitar Series handle. I was happy to get the last two D2 118s that were on the table. I got the rubber handled version of the ergo hunter and one of the little rosewood ergo capers. The rest was mostly common stuff. Some 110's (they had some with mirror polished blades), 112s, 119s, 691's (they had some with black blades and they all had the custom stamp), a couple of nighthawks, etc etc.

Everything was priced pretty cheap so it made for some pretty fun shopping.

I believe "Thanks" are in order for Buck Knives; 1st, for still making alot of great knives in America, and 2nd, for making sales events happen. I'm sure the Greyhound Park sale doesn't even recoup but a fraction of the expenses for making the knives.
Now, I really believe a special "Thanks" should go out to Joe Houser, and he deserves some sort of new title like, "Illustrious Grand Poobah Potentate of Consumer Relations":D;). I think Joe understands the members of the BCCI and knife-nuts that haven't transitioned to the BCCI, yet. Most of us don't live within an hour or 2 of Post Falls, and can't justify spending extra $ on travel expenses. I know Joe did the best he could at the last minute to help some BCCI guys take advantage of the Greyhound Park sale. He has no obligation to do that, and it's nothing but extra work for him and others. Hopefully, Joe will make it possible for the BCCI members to take full advantage of future events.
