Thank You.

I would like to thank Captain Airyca for putting on the contest and buying 2 great kids their first real knives.
She purchased 2 BK16's for Peyton and Grant Kirby who are in South Africa.
Thankyou for the fatwood and folder for me.
Captain Airyca is a real asset to this forum and a true Beckerhead.

I would also like to thank Azwelke for donating 2 top notch sheaths.Thank you.
These are rock solid sheaths and he is a true profesional.
Great retension and seamless edges. Fit and finish is amazing.
The belt loop and firesteel holder are well thought out well made.

K-9 Handler donated his services and applied the duracoat finish on these knives.Thank you.
The finish on these knives is nothing short of amazing.
The finish on the scales adds a texured feeling.
These knives should have no problem holding up to the rigors of Africa.

Here is the tricky part.
I have to get them to South Africa.
If I send them through the mail they have only a 75% chance of getting there due to theft from postal employees.
If I send them over with friends they have only a 75% chance of getting there due to theft from bagage handlers.
I asked the Kirbys what they thought would be safer and they said to send it over with friends in November.
This way it passed through fewer hands.
I am going to mail them to their friends and pray.

The complete package.

Well Done Everyone !

Deserves a "Golf Clap" ... you know, that quiet clap the fans do
when one is hit a gazillion yards, strait down the fairway :D

Serious - good Stuff.

Wow!
What a solid performance on Airyca's part!
Fantastic work on the knives Az & K9.
Very generous on all counts.
Cool people doing cool things for other cool people is pretty cool in my book!

Those knives and sheaths look fantastic! Bravo to all involved. One question though, why are there sad faces on the knife handles?

Thanks to all good people here on the forum, we bring out the best in each other, and make good things happen. I am glad I could help out.
