I recently won Chief's GAW, and really felt the need for a thank you thread. I am totally blown away with his generosity, and especially so since this is such a special knife. It was originally owned by Duncan, so a thank you to Duncan is in order as well for passing this gem on to his friend starting its journey on its way to my hand...Chief also included a really nice piece of leather loaded with diamond past to use as a strop, and a very nicely made leather slip. This JH Lloyd will be a cherished EDC knife for me, I believe it will probably replace my GEC #25EO as my watch pocket knife. I was really stunned and speechless when reading the PM that I had won and am so very grateful to own such a well made and well loved piece of cutlery.
It will be well used and well cared for...

Thank You!

Duane

Wow...its so good to see the knife!, its a great knife, and I enjoyed carrying it very much!, Chief most certainly is a gentleman and a darned good guy.
Thank you to you both, Chief most certainly Blitzed the field with his Give-away didn't he!

this place is simply Beautiful.

Class act Chief. Nice to see that lovely knife in another pair of great hands. Congratulations Duane :)

You are quite welcome Duane, well deserved. Great to see someone appreciate that sweet knife for the life it has lived.

The thread title makes me think of a shadowy scene, some unscrupulous person luring you over as they open their trench coat in a dark alley. Shiny steel glistens from every pocket as they say, "See anything you like? Go ahead ... pick one ... treat yourself ... heheheh ..." Just as traditional knives are addicting, so is generosity. Duncan lit a spark of generosity in me that has been good for me in many ways, thank you sir.

Sheath made by Al Dodge, aka Pocketknifesheaths.

Thanks all for the kind words.

Great looking knife, Duane! I´m sure you´ll love this beautiful piece of cutlery.
