I’m really thankful for the awesome job you did for us here as a moderator. You set the Bar high for everybody who follows you. And I’m looking forward to reading more of your posts to learn from your profound knowledge about buck knives.
Faithfully
Herbert

Thank you Craig Heflebower for your years of service to BCCI and the Buck Forum.
BCCI Board of Directors 2011-2017
Blade Forum Moderator 2013-2020
Much shared information and articles written, particularly on the 300 series of Buck knives.
An outstanding contributor to the Buck community.

Craig's "acceptance speech" upon being named forum moderator in 2013 shows he truly was a man of few words.
"Oh Man, now I gotta read all the threads........300"

Thanks to all. I felt it would do David some good to get a dose of Moderator salts. Started getting all the big shots approvals 5 months ago and finally got the right ear to get things accomplished. I will give everyone one pointer about David, he is a 'straight shooter' so he will act like a moderator when he needs to. I really didn't have any issues being moderator but, just like I gave up the BCCI board after a good spell some new blood is good for tree. I will still be here and will try to do some photos and talk about the history of 300's some more. Thanks for the kind words. 300Bucks

PS I heard rumors that maybe before Christmas a detailed book on the history of Buck Knives might be published. Oh, maybe I wasn't suppose to say anything......

Before I became a member here I was searching for info on my 1989 301. This was probably around 2016 and the most suggested threads were by 300bucks. I learned a lot and I frequently look back at his history when I’m looking at a knife I’m interested in. You just can’t go to a store and buy that kind of information. It’s quite a blessing to have him here to share his vast knowledge of Buck 300 series. Thanks mr 300 bucks Craig !

Well you said it all Rodger. I agree 100%.

Thanks a million Craig. It's been an awesome ride learning from the best about 300's.

I saw that David had become our Buck Knives Moderator but didn’t know Craig had stepped down. Thanks to you Craig for all your contributions to Buck Knife knowledge and especially for inviting me to join here eight years ago - the Buck Forum is a very nice place to hangout for a Buck Man! Bruce

I appreciate the thanks. Even Presidents have to step down in the end, or should. David should do a good job. Once he retired and got a better computer connection it was a natural. He should have lots of time to devote to the forums after working on his homestead in New Mexico mountains. 300
