I found a nice surprise in my PO box today! :) I commented on the very nice 16 pattern Remington that Dr-Mabuse was giving away and although my post was a non entry, my name was picked first and he sent me a surprise gift!! It was very generous to give away a second knife. Thank you Dr-Mabuse!

Here is the lovely barlow that I received as the surprise. :thumbup: Very ornate bolsters on this one! Some of the barlow experts will need to help me out with the date.


Here it is reunited with one of it's Schrade brothers. ;)
 
A good knife has found a good home! (and I don't mean the former was not!)

Thanks, guys. Jake you're very welcome. I don't know much about that knife but I do know that it was fitted with that butterscotch bone some time after it left the factory. It was begging to be used and I know you're just the man for the job. Enjoy it!
 
I sharpened up the congress that he gifted me and took it to work with me today!

I was curious what your "punishment" turned out to be for violating the "No 'not an entry'" rule in the good doctor's GAW. ;)
