Several weeks ago I had made a comment in this forum that I wanted a Damascus Pemberton. I have been using a Remington peanut gifted to me by Carl, and have been reevaluating my opinion of the little buggers, as more than just a folder that's gummint legal.

Well I was surprised by a pm from Sitflyer, our Duane. He had seen my comment and had a Damascus nut for me. A 5120 from 1989 to be exact. He said he wanted it to go to a good home. I promised some pics but, I come from a long line of procrastinators. Finally got some tonight. I hope my iPhone 4S can capture some of the beauty of the pattern on the blade. The scales are very pretty. And it is a scalpel. I am amazed and honored by the generosity of the people here.

I gave my SS Case to my pop, my CV to a member here for his pop. This one makes me want to find a stag or bone CV Case nut for carry, just so I don't mar or lose this beauty!

Carl, you and Chris will get to see it next month.

Nooooo! Carry and us it. Carve up some of that BBQ we're gonna have at the meet-up. You have to experience the way damascus goes through meat!:)
