Just wanted to say thanks for the fun this weekend. It was, as always, a fantastic time. To everyone who attended, thank you for proving that this truly is one of the best communities that exists.

I have many pics and videos to get uploaded and hopefully posted tomorrow.
 
Yes, yes indeed! Thank you soooo much for the awesome weekend! I an unbelievably good time. If a can't find a ride this fall, I'll walk.
 
This was probably the largest and by acclamation the best, so far........ New faces..... Dynamic Moves and Amy, Dex and Kaiya, Zulu Ninja, Ponq, the Kid and Mark.....Whenever you throw new people into a mix as mixed as our mix there is always a worry that the mix will unmix....... NO WORRIES......... What a great crew we had this weekend...... The weather was OK ......

Between Tradewater, Vik, James, Matt and Todd, a whole bunch of people learned a whole lot about the proper mangling of metal into blades......Kay(Mrs. Trade) commented that everywhere she aimed a camera around the shop on Saturday all she saw were big grins and clusters of intense activity.......

Derek and Pointy headed up the breakfast crews and vast and tasty they were ......Hawk and Mark ran a bacon production line this morning that turned out at least six pounds of bacon that never made it to the main course !!!!!!......The whole weekend was a glowing tribute to the consumption of animal protein........ Christina whipped up a huge batch of her Dad's chicken recipe and it was delicious........ Her chicken and a vast quantity of delicious Boudin contributed by Dex held us all over until the pork finally decided to get done........

Many Blades got tested and The Kid did most of the testing .....there are a large number of heavily scarred logs littering the entire property.....LOL........

As always Derek, Pointy, Gutsy, Phillip and Brian straightened up Beckerhead Camp which the host appreciates more than they know........

Of course nothing good would have happened without the superb supervisory skills of Murph.

I only hope you all had as much fun as I did because, I had a blast..........What a great gathering of fine people!!!!!!!...

Ethan, thanks as always. Your hospitality knows no bounds, and a trip to your place is always a pleasure. Especially when Murph is supervising.
 
Big thanks for letting us heathens come and occupy property and mess with all your stuff. I would say top gathering I have been to and delete should get rookie of the year for that boudin.

The short time Ive been a member and part of this community I have never felt so welcomed. I hope to one day get to a gathering. I am happy to be involved in a community of people as tight knit as this one seems to be. Looking forward to seeing more pics and video from the gathering.
 
Absolutely an amazing time. Thank you Ethan for throwing such a fine and eventful gathering. I look forward to these as there are not many places where such behavior is not only tolerated but expected... seriously.

I was so looking forward to coming this year. :grumpy: Seems every time for the last few years something comes up that messes up my plans. I can assure you that you had much more fun that I did this weekend in D.C., though at least we did move the needle in the right direction, I think. Next year!!!!!!!!!!!
 
You were missed Doug - but there were fliers and KR was mentioned a time or 2.
 
Thanks Uncle E!!! I forgot to mention this, but Uncle E loks a lot like my dad (maybe a bit more vintage :D) but seriously, I'm gonna start digging for a recent pic of my dad to post, you guys be the judges. What an awesome, magical weekend. I got to grind, forge, chop, shoot and eat in a beautiful place, surrounded by nuts that speak my language! Thanks again E and everybody that was there!! And there will be Tamarind Caña for the next one!!!
