Earlier in the year I sent Garth my HOGFSH and Game Warden to have matching black micarta scales installed. I designed the profile and sent Garth a message trying to explain what I had drawn up. OBVIOUSLY he's a fellow Neanderthal because he NAILED IT!!!!

The feel and look is completely different than what was shipped back to the birthplace of knife perfection.

Take a look...

Magnum style scales on the HOGFSH and a fat bottomed Warden.

Did you have Garth thin the palm swell in the middle (from bottom to spine)? It looks at less like a golf ball in the middle of the handle.

I just remembered... I asked to have the point at the rear of the tang on the HOGFSH to be rounded off. Other than that, the scales were replaced and custom shaped to perfection.

I just got the quote from Freedom Arms to have black micarta fitted to my M83 Field Grade...$250!!! The gun will have to wait...I need custom Piggyback leather first!!!
