Seen of couple of these lately and I too would like to say thank you to everyone on the forums. When I started coming to blade forums I had only ever owned more modern folders and one day I stumbled across this subsection and my thoughts on pocket knives completely changed. I no longer own any modern folders and went from having/carrying one knife to a small collection that I get to rotate out. Thank you for the sickness :-) and all the great insight in the many threads on this sub section. Also I would like to thank everyone for being so kind and taking the time to provide all this information to those of us that are just getting started. A year in and I feel as though I have learned so much from you all.

Below is two knives that I will be giving away to one winner (saves on shipping) Both knives are factory seconds and have been re handles.

First is a GEC tooth pick, has been re handled in ebony wood and has a little vertical blade play. There is also a light peppering on the blade that I just notices today. Has been sharpened and carried/used a little.

Second is a GEC 73 that has been slimmed down, had a easy open added and re handled in zebra wood. The blade is a little off center. Has also been carried and used.

Edit: Forgot to mention I did not rehandle these knives, they were purchased from a seller on a prominent auction site whom re handles factory seconds and re sells them at a really good price.

This giveaway is open to everyone and I will randomly select a number Monday night. Please make sure to post prior to 6pm Arizona Time on monday 6/20.

EDIT: Congratulations to Smebbin who is is our lucky wiener :-) Thanks again everyone hope you all have a great night

Thanks again to everyone for making this the best knife forum out there.

Regards

Nick

Very nice gesture. I'm in. I've Been trespassin' here for at least three years and I still don't have a GEC yet. (I know, I know, let the stoning begin . . . :p )

I am yet to own a GEC, and toothpicks are my favorite slip joint design, so count me in! Thanks so much for the chance.

I'll go in for a chance.:)
Glad you found a style you can get excited about.
