Jerry not only taught me what makes great Knives, but he also introduced me to strops! Strops have taken my sharpening to a new level! All thanks to Jerry and his willingness to teach over a cell phone!
If you love knives you owe it to yourself to buy a strop! I own the 17inch blademaster from handiamerican and I am waiting for my portable Kramer strop to arrive!!
How about a Sharper Instinct strop?Or an APL strop?
 
I agree! To tell you the truth, I would also love to see the end all, be all, FAQ on knife sharpening. Have done it for years, but would love to read how the pros say to do it.

Jerry and I have talked about the strops on and off for over 6 months...I would love to make them available and plan on exploring the issue in more detail in the coming months....

On another note, the Certificate of Formation for Andy Prisco Limited, LLC, was drafted today....will be filed this week.

Andy, Congratulations on your new endeavor. Whats the chances of the Busse/Prisco duo putting out a basic no frills video on sharpening the various edges, how to, and with what, shown in the correct manner for those of us that are proper method challenged and don't want to screw things up on such a beautiful blade.... Thanks for the consideration (if any) Rand
