I am not a knife collector although I may own more than I will ever use. I am very fortunate to have custom knives from many makers. I know things are less than perfect for you right now John and I just want to say thank you for the knives you have made. Here's a pic of my JK "users".....not a collection just a bunch of knives I really enjoy.

You are very welcome! You have quite a few of "one of a kinds." I remember that swoopy Nessmuk very clearly. I made that one before I found a good source for woods, the customer supplied it, and told me where to get it. I`ve been using the same supplier ever since. Before that, if you wanted wood you had a choice of oak or oak.:D

I guess I`ll post my bit of trivia about the Field Knife. It`s the same one that was featured in S.W.A.T. Magazine. I exchanged the black micarta handles for oak.

Thare aren't many knife tasks that can't be handled with those tools. Very nice.

That is a NICE "non-collection" of JK steel! :) It makes me want to take inventory.

Do it and I'll post there!

best regards -
