Absolutely,

From a civilian stand point, I am always humbled at the risk men and women took to keep our country free, then, now and in the future. You have my full respect.

My dad was a WWII vet, and I was born in 1946. Just old enough by the start of the Korean war to realize what was going on and worry that dad might be called up!

Interesting segment on NPR this morning on the pre-war intelligence failures that let the N. Koreans mobilize without any corresponding build-up, that took no note of the start of Chinese involvement, etc.
A nasty little war that's technically not finished yet.

i'll second that!
all veterans have all my respect for the sacrifices that they have made.
my father, uncles, grandfather and great uncles all served.
this country wouldn't be what it is today without their dedicated service!
later,
don
