This forum continues to amaze me, today I had an extra package in my mailbox containing 2 wonderful vintage Barlows. Mark included a note stating he liked the way my Barlow collection was shaping up and he hoped I could use these 2.
Well Mark, I really can and I am blown away by your very generous gesture. A beautiful bone handled Boker Tree Brand and a very nice Ulster Barlow with a bolster stamp I did not have. The Boker in bone is another I do not have and I just love the shape of the vintage spear blade.
I'm fairly new to the forum but between Marks generosity and and all the fellowship and generosity and shenannigins I experienced at the GEC Rendezvous this past weekend I feel I fit right in.

Nice to meet you at the Rendezvous Augie. Wished I had stayed longer and had more time to get acquainted better - just so many distractions there (like new and old Barlows, etc.)

Very kind of Marko to send you these and those are two fine Barlows to add to your already fine collection. The kitty is fantastic and makes it a clincher for the fit in.
