Wore out my Sharpmaker base pressing on it hard with k390. Now I have some small trial Venev stones based on a sharpening vid of Cristy’s. Loving these stones and freehanding!

Michael Christy deserves more love. Before he came around there were people saying you could not get high carbide steels hair whittling or that freehand can never match a fixed system for apex sharpeness.


He has inspired the current generation of knife guys that love high performance edges.
