I wanted to thank Mike for putting on a Great 3 day Damascus slip jont folder work shop at studio 4 I took the class along with 5 other students I wanted to learn how to make this style folder so I ask Mike if he would teach it as a class. he said yes. and we got it done. As always Dave, I had a great time at Studio 4 teaching. You have a great facility and I look forward to my next time.

BTW, Mike and others, what is going on these days with Sierra Forge and Fire?
 
Mike is an incredible instructor. I've spent a few days in his shop a couple of years ago and have attended his hammer-in in the past. Looking forward to the next hammer-in coming up October 7,8,9 in Visalia, CA. Will be an incredible experience!

I'm a little confused on the dates and can probably find them on line, but in the Nov. Blade, They have the California Bladesmithing Expo listed as Oct 14-16. Anyway just thought I'd post in case there's others that read the same thing and are confused.
 
Let us be clear the dates for the Visalia, hammer in this year is October 7,8,9 in Visalia, Mike has been working hard to put together a good line up of smiths there will be a lot to see and learn I hope to see you all there.
