Dear Sir,

I wanted to publicly thank you for the recent knife releases in SR 101. I know you made your reputation off of infi and it is near and dear to your heart. Many of my fellow enthusiasts have squealed, barked, and squeaked for new infi releases. Who can blame them. Your work set the standard.

As a public educator, I will never have access to the financial capital as some of my peers. Therefore, each decision must be carefully considered and weighed with regard to the impact it has on my family. While I am by no means poor, i am at the stage where wife and kids take a priority.

You recent releases have allowed me access to knifes that I could not afford before this. I know people here want infi. They thirst for it. Thank you for allowing me and others to get involved with Busse at a more manageable price point. I just wanted you to know that there are those of us out there that appreciate the sr 101 releases. A toast to you sir.

Kind Regards

J. Crane

I agree with this and was thinking about starting a thread myself. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to purchase more knives at these great prices.

I agree and thank you myself Jerry!
Before the BG releases I just oogled the Busse Combat website, dreaming.

The Swamp had gotten my money before that, and probably would have gotten the rest of it until I saw the BG ASH.

Now I've got 6 Bussekin, 2 Rats, one Dog, and 3 Hogs.
Without the BG releases and the following amazing "two weeks" deals that have been offered, this would be impossible.

So I too want to thank you sincerely.

My Wife and Debit card both still don't care much for you though, they just have to deal with it!

I totally agree, the prices are very realistic; I kind of freak out when I see some of the INFI steel blades being sold here for more than a thousand bucks. I am sure there are guys who have the money to spend on those and more, and I hope one of these days I can do that; but if not, I am happy with what I have and what I have ordered so far (which I wasn't planning on doing).

What I have learned is that the reissue of some of these knives is of some old models that cannot be bought anymore, and I am stoked about that. I don't know anything about steels and heat treatments, and I doubt that I will ever use my knives in a real life scenario, but I am very happy with what I have handled so far, which is my BGASH; and I can't wait to get the rest of the orders. In fact, I can't wait to order the next one, that Hell Razor looks amazingly nice to me, and I am ordering at least one of those, is it Thursday yet?

Thank you.:D

I also appreciate the BG offerings Bossman, but I wish you guys would think BIG! Or very small...

I'd love to see the next Wednesday deal be a BG ASHBM and BG CABS!

I'm hanging in there for those two... And I bet I'm not alone...

Can't say I agree there gentlemen, we need some Infi mixed in there to round out the offerings!!

I agree completely. These releases take some of my favorite Busse designs and put them at a price point I can fit into my budget!!

CG SOB?
Battle Saw?
Plenty of INFI on its way down the feeding trough, patience.

Let them hook this new generation of young piglets!

Perfect statement, not that I don't love battle grade but I'm just still kicking myself for not ordering a battle saw

From Busse I prefer Infi, it's not that I do not like SR101 because I most certianly do. But IMO the SR101 is the Rats and Dogs glory and that is where I prefer it to stay. The occasional cross-overs are a treat like a Dog or Rat in Infi, but the only Battle Grade Busse hooked me on was the Gemini. Now when the news comes out on Wednesday's I am all excited until I see Battle Grade offerings, but then again maybe its just all the wrong BG models........

Wizard needs small Infi badly....or any Infi........Infi should always be available....

I do want to thank Jerry though, due to his genius strategy we have quite a few FNG's chatting it up :)

I am very thankful Jerry is bringing all of these new offerings, especially with the handle material & color options not normally offered on the kin... not everyone is a fan of the ol' Ford one color pony. ;)

That's what the swamp is for. Nothing wrong with their offerings. I'll be one of the few that isn't too excited about all the SR101 lately. I need an INFI fix. We have 3 companies now producing tons of SR101. Actually I'm pretty happy with the MOABolo, CGFBM, and ASH releases we've had lately so I can't complain too much. Just not excited about all the SR-101.

Another big thank you to Jerry! I love the BG series and the options it offers. Keep 'em coming.
