I want to thank Oregon(Steve)for the buck 110 web special 154 cm rosewood knife he sent me.I missed the web specials and was lucky enough to get a beauty of a knife from one of the great members on this forum,It never ceases to amaze me,the kindness and generousity that is shown here between members of the Buck forum.I have had a bad run of friends/family passing away as of late, and this knife cheered me up a bit from the usual day to day dealings lately. Thanks again Steve,i sure do apprechiate and love my knife, and i hope you like the ones i've sent you!

That is a cool looking knife. I love the web specials. I waited too long and the Buck 110 web special 154 cm Rosewood knife was gone:eek:

Congrats razor and I agree, I have been blessed by the generosity fo a few forumers including Steve-you da man oregon.

Great that you received the folder all the way there in Nova Scotia Don. It is entirely my pleasure.

Now, the real skinny: Just how tasty and delicious is flipper pie? A treat that IMHO most of us are ignorant of. :)

All the best,

oregon

The noreaster parts have always attracted me. I wandered about a bit in the Andirondaks of N. New York and was charmed by the remoteness, quiet and canoeability. Thank you kindly for the invitation.

Jellied moose nose, squid burger and bakeapple jam (using berries from the bog) help me think that your neck of the woods is an exotic remote corner of the northeastern frontier. Also, do icebergs ever actually float bye the coast in the summer after breakup in Hudson's Bay?

Over here, on the rugged western coast of the USA, strange and unusual quisine is, well, uh, hmmm, too close to me in order for me to know that it is or could be considered interesting. Smoked salmon isn't exotic is it?

I lived in Honolulu for a couple years in the early seventies and really enjoyed lomi lomi salmon, takawan, kim chee, portugese sausage, haupia and even day-old poi.
