I recently sent off a little something to Primble as a thanks for all he adds here and especially for the UNBELIEVABLE pictures he posts. He posted a very nice thank you thread, and I thought our business had concluded.
Oh no.
Here he had to go and hop on a thoroughbred race horse and gallop northward, presumably vaulting clear across the Ohio River at the stroke of midnight, pockets jingling, loaded with old Primbles, Cattaraugus', and Bokers. He galloped up and down the hills of southern Ohio and finally came to a halt here in Uniontown, only to slip a little something in my mailbox! He then reared back on his steed (again, presumably), brandishing a Trapper high in the air in a very headless-horseman fashion, and once again disappeared into the night!!
Or at least that's how it played out in my head. I could be slightly off base (in a few different ways, I suppose).
Thank you, Primble! This beauty of a Case was accompanied by a very nice handwritten note and a US state quarter which I absentmindedly forgot to include in the photo. As evidenced above, I will never compete with Primble for the photographer of the year award, but trust me, this is a beautiful knife!!
So thanks again, Primble. You're a good man, and I'm honored to be the recipient of the fruits of one of your midnight rides. Or something like that, anyway.
