Thank you , Ron, for outstanding customer service!!

I want everyone hear to know what ouststanding customer service Ron Andersen has provided me. Let me briefly explain:

In 1992, I purchased a SOG Clipit tool to carry while on duty. Shortly afterwards, I broke the plier jaws. I don't recall exactly what I was doing at the time.

I returned them to the place I purchased them from, and they said that they'd have to send them to SOG for warranty evaluation. No problem.

About a week later, I recieved the tool back, and word that SOG would not cover them under warranty, as what I did to them was judged misuse. (The fixed jaw actually cracked).

I asked the sporting goods manager to call them & plead my case, which he did, and they stood their ground. I was essentially out the cost of the tool, which I replaced with another brand.

Now, enter Ron@SOG.

I recieved an e mail from him tonight, explaining he had read a post I made on the BM forum a year ago about my plight with the ToolClip.

Ron has graciously offered me a replacement tool, 9 years after the fact! I accepted his offer, and I will be reviewing this tool once I recieve it.

Words cannot convey how pleased I am at Ron's offer, and that SOG has truely stepped up to the plate to make a former customer happy after 9 years!!!! This is simply outstanding customer service!!!!

Thank you so much, Ron!!!
You can be assured that I will now return as a customer of SOG!!!
