I am participating in the spyderhawk passaround and I received the knife this morning. I will post thoughts and stuff after I have carried it a couple of days. just wanted to say "Thank You" to Sal and the rest of the folks at spyderco for donating this knife for the purpose of "passig it around". Initial impressions are tha it is very well made, and larger than I thought. I am going to carry this knife exclusivly while I have it and will post final thoughts in a couple of days. Thank aain for the chance to evaluate this knife.

I just got my spyderhawk today and cant believe how BIG it is... am used to the harpy and merlin.

looks very useful, definatly a worthy replacment to the matriarch also.
