  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

So I got a package from Golden(at no cost to me!) and here's what was in it. This was Mr. Glesser's awesomeness once again manifesting itself in a generous gesture to me after I posted a thread about my sharpening solutions in another island where I'm building.

As I have made obvious several times in the past, besides the great knives, the people behind the knives are a major factor that people(Me!!) are spyder-fanatics. This gesture from Mr. Glesser affirms that faith that we have in him and his company.

Once again, thank you for your big heartedness Mr. Glesser.

Fantastic!!!!
Sal is the main reason I now EDC a Spyderco knife.

That's fantastic. Congrats! Let us know how you like it. I must admit I don't understand the shape of this stone.

If it was not for Sal there would be no Spyderco ( course I would also have a lot more money to. ) and I would only have the same old Knives that I used to buy.!** Thank God for Sal & Kristi ~~ they are the best.^^

I must admit I don't understand the shape of this stone.
If you stand it up with the big end on the bottom then lean it to one side it gives you a 20 degree angle. Alternate back and forth and it's like a 1 piece sharpmaker. Lay it on it's side and you can sharpen scissors.

That is a very generous gift. Those things aren't cheap.

I think you'll really enjoy using that Golden Stone - they are fantastic for traveling, camping, and quick touch-ups.

In addition to being highly functional, they are also really cool looking!

Been waitin' for your update about this and there, you got it! Congrats bro!:)

and a big:thumbup: for Mr.Glesser!:)

That is simply fantastic. Stories like this are the reason that while I don't always carry a Spyderco, they are my favorite knife brand.

We're machining a fixture to go with it that converts the angle to 30 degrees. I've been using a make-shift one for about a year or two. We're going to machine two. You can test one for us. Rebecca will send it to you when Roque finishes the protos.
