I sent in a broken and used endura 4 in combo edge to spyderco, lock back was broken so it acted more like a slipjoint than anything else. Sent it back with no box no anything except a letter saying whats wrong with it and the blade itself. Spyderco got back to me and sent me an entirely new endura 4 in box! With 2010 catalog and their mid year stuff as well. Super wicked! Its my first experience with spyderco CS and I would buy their knives on design practicality alone. Having service like this is just a cherry on top.

I also like to say thanks to spyderco employees and thank you Sal for running an amazing company. I work in a retail store for hunting goods and the knife counter I will be sure to tell potential customers of not only your amazing designs but your fantastic customer service.
 
Lucky you. I had a delica 4 that would not lock up properly. It went to Spyderco at least twice. The first time it went in last year, it was essentially new; when I got it back, the problem was definitely less evident but still there. It went back again a couple months ago. I explained the problem and how it went in previously for the same exact issue. I was told to take it back and retire it, or forfeit it and take a 30% discount on a single item (which turns out to be more expensive than online vendors).

I was offended. I left a message and an email asking why it couldn't be fixed considering all the parts are replaceable. I got no response.
