Stacy has always been very helpful to us, not only by offering good solid advice and moderating the forum group, but also in helping with material.

I wish to say a great big THANK YOU Stacy for the great wood he sent me. The Maple in top looks much better than the photo, it's truly "Premium" wood. I must say the "Frog Hair" maple is the first I've ever seen, and it's going to make a very interesting handle. The Lacewood, photo just doesn't do it justice at all. There are two good examples of Bog Oak, the unlabeled is stabilized for sure as heavy as it is, and bottom is marked unstabilized. It feels like it would do pretty good as is, but plan for my next batch for stabilizing to include this block of Bog Oak. did I say "THANK YOU Stacy!!!"

Those are going to make some beautiful knife handles. I’ve never met Stacy in person, but he has been a big help to me as well. Shortly after I started making knives, Stacy sent me some good known blade steel, several blocks of stabilized wood, some Micarta, and actually had a blade already shaped to give me a head start. I would say that Mr Apelt has been a big help to many folks on this forum.
