Thank you T. Erdelyi - Case slipjoint

A BIG thank you to T. Erdelyi whom generously gave away a Case slipjoint in a recent contest. I was lucky enough to win the knife and now I can "walk" the walk and "talk" the talk!

I showed it to my 2 1/2 year old son (a future knut) and he thought it was very nice as well - really liked the yellow handle. I told him it was his and as soon as he is old enough he could open the blades. He has now been asking "where is my knife?" when he sees me with one of mine. The knife is to hard for him to open so it makes for a safe knife for small kids.

I do have to say I was a little unhappy that he put a curse on me. Included with the knife was a hand written note that said "I hope this gets you hooked on slipjoints". Ugh, just what I need... another knife type to collect

Kurt thanks for the kudos, it was my pleasure, I'm trying to get some other BFers involved in a Mega Giveaway with a few knives, but I've been sidetracked by another project for a friend whose fiance died at the WTC terrorist attack on 9-11-01.

BTW the best way to break the collecting curse is to give in, enjoy, and share your passion with someone else.
