This post is to show appreciation for a great guy who works hard for a great company.

Recently, I have read many posts in which Thomas has done an excellent job of helping others out with information and issues.

Its great to see you back here active and nice to know there are people out there that truly care about us Knife Nuts and our concerns.

It is highly appreciated .

I know this is not really a general knife discussion topic and may be moved . .sorry but had to do.

Anyone agree?

Wrong forum or not I agree. I believe strongly he's a great part of the strong showing and recent successes by Kershaw, and ZT this last year or two. Success just doesn't happen by accident after all. Joe

I go along with that....Thomas has been the best ( along with Joe from Buck).....Great knives and great service.......

I think that a lot of the people here are outstanding but Thomas is one of the best. Great work Thomas and yes because of you another Kershaw will be in my future.

Of course I agree. I am not a Kershaw fanatic, although I do appreciate their knives (love that JYDII!) and have a handful (good performers).

What I really like about Kershaw is their attitude and their customer interaction, which means Thomas around here!

It’s a rare experience that a man of this stature will take the time to interface with the end users. This guy is one of the best and he runs a pretty dam good company. This BUDS to you Thomas W.

Yup, Thomas is great. That's why I've got several Kershaws and more coming. As you said, along w/ Joe from Buck, don't forget Sal at Spyderco. I've got knives from all these companies.

Thomas has personally raised my interest in Kershaw. He's doing a great job. Can we submit this thread to his superiors?

Agreed.... attitudes like this are becoming far and few between any more. I don't own any Kershaw knives, but still appreciate their designs, and attention to their customers.

I don't own any Kerhaws. But I was impressed with the way Thomas handled things in the "Blur Sucks" thread. Good man!

Still no word from Cleve, ey?

Thanks Stephan, and everyone.

Looking out for you all 24/7 over here at Kershaw.

Thomas as you can see I have been a board member for several years but rarely post. I however gleened so much info off this board that it is incredible.

About 8 monthes ago you decided to leave but thankfully came back. Because of your dedication to your company I have bought several knives from KAI in the past 3 monthes. Most notably 6 storm II from wallyworld for co-woorkers.

I have never had issues with QC on any of them and am planning on purchasing a GYD II in a couple of weeks. But you really need to have a blade marking program like another company that is famous for its hole in the blade. It would be sweet to have blades from you guys factory marked with owners names.

Hey when you getting your own forum here?

It's always nice when a company (or an individual) goes as far to make sure their customers are happy as Kershaw and Thomas do! My one experience with Kershaw CS was when an idiot I worked with tried to shut my Random Leek (which Kershaw is re-releasing on a wider scale...but PLEASE put out a plain-edge version too) while the safelty lock was forward. When it wouldn't close, he tried to force it and broke the safety. I e-mailed Kershaw's CS and had a new lock piece and screw within a week! I've never had a warranty issue turn-around that was that quick. Ya' know, I think BladeForums should give an award of some kind each year for best CS, or just for knife makers that REALLY care about their products and customers! These are the people I'd nominate (yeah, I know I'm getting a bit off topic here, but I want to put it out there before I forget):

Thomas from Kershaw (for obvious reasons)

Sal from Spyderco (is there another big cutlery owner that is more responsive and enthusiastic about customer input about their products????)

Peter from Fallkniven (may not be well represented on BF, but he is always helpful and will do his best to help out Fallkniven knife owners)

The whole Busse/Swamprat/Scrapyard clan (I don't own any of their knives...YET...but have been an admirer for years, and from what I've read, they go above and beyond for their customers)

Am I missing anyone? What would your suggestions be?

(I just decided that I'm gonna' use part of this message to start a new thread, so reply there if you want to)

Thanks Stephan, and everyone.

And I hope you know how much we appreciate it. I would probably never have bought my first Kershaw if I hadn't seen some of your posts...

Frankly, Kershaw's customer service reminds me of my distant youth. What we see Thomas doing here is what was MEANT by customer service in the 50's and...well, in the old days!

Same here. Since you came here it's cost me 100's and 100's of $$! (lol) Keep up the good work.

I also would like to point out that Thomas, while representing Kershaw, always seems to do it with class.

He provides information with out trying to push or oversell his company's knives by constantly pushing them down our throats or cluttering up threads with "BUY KERSHAW!" posts.
