Pure awesomeness happend at SHOT this year for me guys!!! So while I'm checking out the 560/561 (oh yeah) I see Thomas and go to say hi and thank him for all that he does on bladeforums. We get to talking and I'm telling him how I really dig the Tilt which happens to be my current EDC blade, and I really like the stonewashed version that he posted some pics of in the Tilt thread. He says "yeah I got one here" and goes to grab it. I was amazed on how badass the stonewashing looks on the knife, believe me pics don't do it justice!!! He ask if I like it, and I'm like hell yes! Then he says "Here, it's yours". So right now I'm pretty much in shock mode and am speechless, I honestly thought he was kidding. Thomas is one heck of a guy!! I know just as well as anybody how much he contributes to this community and I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we are super grateful!! Thanks again Thomas!!



Sorry for the crappy iPhone pic, this was taken at SHOT and had to ship the knife back which I haven't got yet.

I hope to meet Thomas this summer - I am planning a motorcycle trip to Oregon just to visit the Kershaw factory.

Thanks for the pic and congrats - I had to get back in line for a stonewash version. The original has become my favorite folding knife and I carry it every day.

Again, I have said it and stand by it. Thomas / Kershaw / ZT rock. They are all about the consumer. Nice Tilt !!!! John
 
Thanks guys, what made it even more sweet was that I had to go knife-less to SHOT since I flew there and all. I was pretty bummed about that, so having a knife to carry, let alone a Tilt, that was given to me by Thomas made it even better!
 
This is why I have no qualms about supporting Kershaw/ZT. Funny, how the more willing someone is to give stuff away, the more willing I am to go out and buy more.

Very true, seeing good reviews on customer service and reading interactions with the company makes me feel better about my kershaw/zt purchases. I will always support a company that listens to their customers.
 
Totally awesome gift!! The more I read about Thomas and Kershaw/ZT the more I love them.
 
Just to chime in with everyone else. That is so awesome. I hope to meet Thomas at Blade this year in Atlanta.
