I recieved an e-mail from gus so he could get a address to send my 2007 forums knife to. I want to thank all of you for this knife, as it is a very special gift. I've received things before, work related awards with my name on it, military awards, even back in my scout days. But this one is going to be special, comming from you guys. But a gift of a knife to a knife knut, from knife knuts is a special thing.

I am very, very touched by your generosity. Again, thank you.

Jackknife.

Jackknife,

You are worthy of this knife and much, much more!. Your contributions here have been so beneficial to me and dare I say the rest of the traditional forum clan. I have laughed and even shed a tear now and then at your wonderful written word and true life experiences. You have truly blessed me! I very fine knife for a fine fellow.:)

Thanks so very kindly,
Anthony

Congrats on your new knife.. For all you contribute here, I can't think of a more deserving person. I look forward to more of your great stories in 08..
I really wish I was able to sit around a campfire and have a few adult beverages with you. Best wishes to you and your family in 08..

And our thanks to you for letting us sit on the steps of that old store, hang out with the scouts and learn a few things from Mr. Van, bum around the Maryland marshes, go on covert missions in Germany, and any number of other adventures. Not to mention being a prime voice of he Peanut and Sodbuster advocacy.

An excellent New Year to you old friend.

I echo the other sentiments here Jackknife. There is no more worthy fellow.

I heartily agree with the expressed thoughts so far. Anthony and Amos hit the nails on the head. Hope you enjoy the Cannitler in good health. :)

Who else would get it? LOL. You are the man, Jackknife, and a hero to many of us. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who picks up a knife to buy, inspects it, and thinks "Hmmm, what would Jackknife say about this little guy?" Congrats, brother.
